In my soaring first post, I mentioned something I refer to as the "learning moments." My appetite for these is insatiable. For me, each day begins with a quest for a moment that inspires me for the rest of the day. I know how corny that sounds, but it's true.
I would like to share a few of my favorites from the past year. Many have been bandied about, so they are most likely not new to you. On the days when my quest bears no fruit, I reach for one of these. Enjoy!

I’ve been a Web designer for more than 10 years. I have relied on blogs and RSS feeds for almost that long. But as an in-house designer, the scope of my work has grown to include print and production, environmental graphics, signage. The list goes on. Certainly the projects I have worked on have made me a better designer overall, but in the process I have not kept pace with the interwebs.
So now it’s 2009. And I figure why not start a blog. Silly, right? Do I have anything to say? I suppose we’ll find out. But one thing is for sure. The process will be filled with the learning moments. And those are the moments that get me up in the morning.
Expression Engine is installed. Let the real work begin. Designing, generating content. For myself, this is painstaking. Categories to dream up. Templates to build. This is going to be awhile.
Hopefully there will be something worth reading here soon.
